Hi Guys,

I was wondering whether there is a ebay widget for the N900?

I'm looking for something that allows you to track items and place bids without loading up the full browser version?

I don't believe so no, but the ebaymobile site is OK just for tracking your buying/selling activities. Designed for a small screen too!

the 'touch search' widget can be set as an ebay widget with an ebay logo, and used to search ebay, but it has no other ebay functions

I find the standard enay site to be fine on the MicroB browser, don't see the need for an "app"

based on my own personal experience of eBay's attempt at an iPhone app, i would rather use their website... and that's what the N900 is for...the internet!

@cazzajay: really?
It's been a timesaver for me. It covers 90% of the things I do on Ebay (including messaging) and it does it faster and easier for the small screen. Not to mention, it has a feature to remind you 15 minutes before the end of an auction that's worked reliably for me.

for me it came up with completely different search results than the website on my PC. both eBay UK, and the PC would come up with about 50% more results. Plus the eBay app push notifications were a bit spontaneous, I used to get them after the auction ended!
