There is http://downloads.maemo.org/product/minimo which points to the wrong site and there's http://tonikitoo.blogspot.com/ not updated, there's the rumor mill about minimo is dead and there'se bits and pieces around but:

Can anyone point me to the latest robust release of minimo? Ideally with a decent description?

instead, and search on the page for minimo. It lists both a download location and a repository.

The url that you are looking at is new and still under construction, and not all of the links are active yet.
