Hi All,
There are a few media players available for the N900 and rather than download them all I just wanted to ask the opinion of you guys!
What I'm looking to find out is which media player would be the best for use in the car so i dont want loads of options and features - it cant be too fiddly as if i want to change music i will be looking to do it quickly and easily when i stop at lights and junctions etc.
so which media player has:
  • Nice big icons
  • Not loads of fiddly functions
  • Good organisation of music (using metadata)

cheers all

I use XMMS because I have it loaded with mixes so I don't care about being able to fiddle with the interface, but if I was using it with single tracks I think Canola would be your best bet. The iTunes knock off (Quazar) may be good as well as it can do full screen presentation

I use the original media player that came with the phone in the car. My phone is on a bracket, it being touch screen makes things really easy I find. Scroll through your albums, pick one and play it. The basic buttons are there for you to use too. I do like the shuffle all songs option as well.

yeah, thats what i've been using but its a little bit fiddly and when scrolling through albums its pretty jerky.
Im just looking to see if theres a more smooth, easier to use media player.
