I use the BlackBerry for the first phone and n900 for second, now i would like to replace the N900 for my first phone if n900 have this options :S

Right now n900 is totaly unusable for business...


Is anybody here who can make me a widget which shows specifically new imcoming mails for each email account and option to set a different email alert sound for each email account.

If n900 have this options i think that a lot of blackberry users will change phone for n900.

I need the same thing, even started a thread in Brainstorm about it but got no replies.
There is thread on how bad the email client is here on the board so we are not alone with this issue. Doesn't seem to be much movement or concern out of Nokia on the issue.

To me the weak email on this phone is the one thing that keeps it from being a decent smart phone for business. As of now I have to carry my BB with me and the N900 is just another play thing until someday the email client is addressed if ever.

Yes there is numerous enchantment request and N900 email client is really really as it´s name says modest. To orginal poster: Check brainstrom section (community->brainstorm) also bugzilla is filled with requests.

And if you are business user who doesn't have knowhow about linux system then I would say you have bought totally wrong phone to do business. You should have bought E-series which is designed to business users. It´s stricktly speaking mainly for music/videos/browser/chat phone at least as out of box. OS and community as extra :P. Let's hope that someone developes e-mail program with all bells and whistles AND which is also optimized for this GUI.

BTW, the upcoming PR 1.2 may have such a widget
