Hi all where is your N900 assembled as i think mine is in Taiwan… Does anyone own a Finland made N900 ? Also what is the difference between them. Thanks

They will all be made in Taiwan - from a manufacturing perspective there is no reason why the device would be made in two separate manufacturing locations when the tooling, asssembly equipment and programming is so exceptionally complex and expensive. Labour in the EU is too expensive as well.
The phone is designed in Finland (as clearly stated on the back of the screen when you slide it up) but they will all be manufactured in Taiwan, if this is the manufacturing location.

Mine says "Designed in Finland" but I cba taking the battery out to see what it says under there. I think it's Turkey or something
EDIT: Turkey was my 5800, made in Korea it says.

eseries and nseries handsets are mainly made in finland and china
different factorys for different models ie some factorys can obvously produce more handsets

yep its all over the net :-) and is perhaps why there has been a shortage of n900s ie the factory in korea cant churn them out quick enough
