it's turned off by default, but you can turn it on either only for youtube with an add-on (youtube enabler) or directly in about:config for all sites (how-to in german: http://meetmeego.com/tutorials/10-fl...ile-aktivieren and in english: http://ahdesai.wordpress.com/2010/02...fox-1-0-maemo/)

i don't like loosing the circle motion on screen to zoom in and out.
Doesn't render pages as fast as the built in browser, i don't think its anything to shout about i wouldn't stop using the built in browser for fennec.

Which is this component? I couldn't find any, looked for mozilla but dpkg returns nothing.

I have also thought that some people just don't recognize 25 fps from 50 fps. At least for me those are two totally different things. YMMV so to speak.

I have updated my fennec nightly daily and i found it stuttering and bit laggy. I wonder if this new firefox is same as these nightlies.

I would not say slow as hell, but it´s not smooth and trying to scroll when page is loading just hangs my firefox/fennec completely. It just loads page. Kinetic scrolling is also not so good.

Thing that worries me most is that these guys should be top of line coders on this platform and represent to me the people who should be the first to unleashing n900's full power...and then we got this...i´m just worried. Really really worried.

It just pisses me that there is new functionality and stuff but then UI experience (scrolling, zooming) is below middle (microb).

Okey so they are aware of this problem:
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis
    I´m eagerly waiting for that.

I was prompted to update to 1.0.1 earlier. Installed, ran the app, and I have to say that the speed has been greatly improved. I'm impressed.

I don't have it listed any more since installing 1.1, but it began with "Mozilla" in the app manager program when I looked in "Uninstall"
