Just saw this... now this takes the Ipad idea and adds at least some function to it...

It is not, however, an "iPad killer" as it has been dubbed by some blogs but an alternative to its bigger rival, Neofonie GmbH's founder and managing director Helmut Hoffer von Ankershoffen told reporters on Monday in Berlin.
The "Iphone killer", "iPad" killer nonsence has to stop. Why is every released phone compared to Apple`s products? The iPad does not need to be killed,it was dead even before it was released.

It's certainly much less self-centric than the Apple product it's competing.

Maybe that works better in Asia and Africa, where culture is less individualistic compared to the western society.

This should have been in Competitors...

TMO may have deteriorated into a mobile phone discussion forum, but I still remember when it was ITT...

PS. ITT = internet tablet talk

The specs seem good, lets see if they deliver. I really cannot understand what is taking all those companies so long (counting also Notion Ink, Dell, HP, etc) -- why wait for the summer and let the iPad gain momentum? Stupid, lazy, or what? If the other producers could get their act together, then I agree that the iPad would not need a killer.

We're actually looking into reviewing the WePad over that Raiden's Realm. I'm really excited about it and would love to get my hands on one for review.

Interesting, but why have they gone with Atom?
IMO it would be better for battery life to go with ARM.
