Hi All,

A quick question about Nokia N800.

1. How about its PDF Viewer
I plan to use it to view pdf files containing some math formulas. I don\'t know if these foumlas can be properly displayed.

2. Any idea to install a dictionary software
Will it be possible to download a free dictionary software and get it installed on N800?

Thanks

1. N800's built-in PDF viewer is quite usable. For math you will probably need to install additional fonts (unless fonts are embedded into PDF itself and PDF viewer is capable of using them - not sure about that). Evince is another document viewer for 770 and N800, supports PDF and several other formats including djvu.

2. SDict Viewer is a free dictionary app for 770 and N800, it works with dictionaries from sdict.com

I write physics papers in LaTeX and convert them to pdfs for printing, etc and they absolutely work fine on the included pdf viewer on the 770 and I assume the n800. Math formulas, diagrams, whatever.

Just need a rotate button so it'll show the pdfs in portrait mode...

Evince has that. And it is also supposed to be able to open DVIs directly, no need to convert to PDF...
