Download Midnight Commander. It is a file browser. From the start screen browse to: .mozilla/firefox. There is a folder that the name changes according to the user. In it is bookmarks.html and bookmarks backup. Delete them. Or else just delete the whole thing.
From xterm:
sudo gainroot
rmdir /home/user/.mozilla/firefox

I am new to the Linux/Maemo OS environment so this may sound like a NOOB question but where does Firefox store user profile data on the phone?
I am trying to delete all my bookmarks and profile data to start fresh. Tried browsing the filesystem but couldnt find any folder. Re-installing firefox doesnt get rid of bookmarks.
