Is it possible to apply bluetooth stereo audio profile (AD2P) to recent hardware? It would be nice to be able to listen music without wires but if that mean new hardware then it will be in next tablets.

No, the software isn't available (the hardware may be OK though).

Yes there's mention on the "roadmap" about bt-headset support but that doesn't mean stereo audio, probably support mono headset to use it at internet calls. I hope that stereo support will be there if the hardware already can handle it.
I'm getting bored with the pressure dead zone on right side of the screen, it's awful to scroll pages with slider. I have to put more and more pressure to get that slider even move a little bit. Maybe these screens are not so good quality as it looks...

The pressure dead zone is an issue outstanding awaiting official response from Nokia. My guess is they'll deny all knowledge of the fault and ask for the "phone" to be sent in for inspection. Once we know how Nokia intend to deal with the faulty pressure zones I'll be sending two in for repair (that's a 100% failure rate for me).

Thanks for advice, I'll do that. I hope Nokia will fix that screen problem quickly, it won't look good if so many tablet have this kind of failure. Hmm, 100 % failure rate, Millhouse I wish you good luck with those tablets!

Go to https://maemo.org/bugzilla/ and create an account, login with your new account then view the aforementioned bugs and click on the "Vote for this bug" link in the top third of the bug report.

In theory, the more votes each bug receives the more likely it is that Nokia will take notice and fix the bug or implement the enhancement. That's the theory, anyway.

Sony Ericsson HBH DS-970 BT headphones are nice as well with excellent stereo audio and microphone and call handling. Very happy with them on my SE W950i Walkman phone, wish I could use them with my N800 though!

The DS-970 can in theory be paired concurrently with mutiple BT devices, so I would hope in future that it might be possible to pair the headset with a mobile phone for standard mobile phone call management yet also pair with the N800 for VoIP and Media Player audio - any mobile phone calls would temporarily interrupt the N800 audio, with the N800 audio resuming when the call is completed...

Well one can dream - just having basic audio would be a start.

I might add that these bugs are both marked as being specific to IT2006 and the 770. From what I understand the bluetooth chipsets are completely different for the 770 and the n800 as the n800 is BT 2.0 and the 770 is BT 1.2. Thus A2DP is possible on the n800 but not the 770. If no-one cares I'm going to update the bugs to refer to the n800/IT2007.
