are there any apps other than "file transfers" (because it doesn't work) that can allow me to share files with my IM clients? It really bugs me that I can't share files with people I talk with. If there is such a working app then please tell me, would appreciate it.

Nimbuzz was ideal for this sort of stuff but nimbuzz isn't supported by n900 Slick IM chat was also pretty good too, but sadly no support for n900 either

Pidgin's file transfer works nicely.

i would love too to have an applications that allows me to exchange files with my IM contacts....

pidgin works fine, but i want to use the built in conversation client!

there is a program in the extra-devel rep called "file transfer" that is supposed to do exactly what i need but its not working!

there are so many unfinished applications for the N900, i think this phone is great but too difficult to develop apps!!!

hard this app is dead but very important come on update it to work
