    Does the camera track your face all the time? Does it work in low light? It is perhaps simpler to wear a little light (or two) that the camera can track...

    Yes, the camera tracks your face as long as you are in the field of vision of the camera. It doesn't work that well in low light conditions, but that is also due to the camera's poor quality. For example, the back camera produces much better images in low light.
    You could use little lights, but that would undermine the idea of "working out of the box". You would need the light(s) and a power source, both of which you normally don't carry around and probably would have to be custom-made. Additionally, the tracking could then get distracted by similar light sources.
