Hey all,

My post got lost in the barrage under the PR1.2 thread, but I thought I'd post a warning that the leaked fw breaks the conversation app. You can still send/receive messages, but they aren't logged anymore. There's no option for communication history under contacts either.

Hmm... wonder what's happening. I noticed a few other posts in the 1.2 thread that sounded similar to the problem i'm seeing. I'll try reflashing and see if it helps.

Both a reflash and re-restore haven't helped. The problem isn't just that it's not restoring the communication history, it's also not saving any new items.

Any other ideas? Does anyone know where the communication db is stored so i can try deleting it totally?

your data may be currupted. Hmm.. good question, where is it?it must be an xml file somewhere!

I have the same problem too. I dont care about the history sms or conversation but the new one wont be logged eitther

It logs new sms or convo for me, though...?
