Oh my god!!! I found a way how to low level program the n900 so it does WHATEVER YOU WANT! It is sooo easy to do and it runs freemantle and androit at same time so you can switch bedween. Forget update 1.2 it's closed, i have tested and it crashed my n900 totally so i had to buy a knew one. Just bought 2 of them in case i will break again. Anyone need a broken n900? Merely used. real good condition. some smoke under the display doesn't matter if you just want to put it on desk when friends with iphone come. contact me. i sell this one. I now want to tell you how to LOW LEVEL PROGRAM and make it do whatever you want! Just open the keyboard hold down keys '+' and '!' and hold down the sliding key on the right side then you can give commands with the top button which normally opens the system menu. You can make codes like morse code. Didn't find out how they all work but it's amazing! TRY THIS OUT! Programming ...---.-. makes ALL APPS USE PORTRAIT MOD and --.--.--.-...-. makes SIM card unlock and phone for free FOREVER and .--.-...--.-------.--. makes switch between ALL INSTALLED OS there is android ALREADY INSTALLED but Nokia didn't tell us because they don't like it! OH, and just found out it works only with brand new device no updates to firmware or any apps so you must buy new device to make this too. I sell good looking n900 with battery and USB. Don't work butt look good. anyone?

Compass and ion-gun? You must have one of the prototypes. They took those out of the production models.

EDIT: Wait, maybe that's the problem here! Your copy was for a prototype model, and your production model is incompatible. It has probably activated the self destruct!

The production models came with preinstalled teddy bears instead of the ion gun. Nokia felt it was more user-friendly that way.
