I'm on O2 and I'm struggling getting this to work. It seems to send it ok, from the phone, but never gets to the destination! any pointers what I'm doing wrong? what setting do i need to alter? I have it on havoc, other than that i havent touched any other settings.

i put everything in from http://wiki.maemo.org/MMS#AT.26T_Mobility into the apn configuration, ive tried with the +1 and 1 infront of my number, and the number i was sending it to, and i tried polite rude and havoc, and i keep getting error: -2

I also had this problem. Be sure to set the size of the image to Medium or Large, some operators do not support other-size images. This solved my problems. However, also try installing 1.1.8 version.
One thing about the new version and it's translation to spanish...
It seems that the "polite" mode has been translate as "error"??!! is this an error :-) or is what the translator meant?
It should be translated as "educado", "delicado" or something like that...

You can fix it just copying one file to another. The language is already fixed in the sources and the translation will be OK in a new release of fMMS.
The new translation is Amable, Brusco and Agresivo (and other changes of length in some strings).
This may sound like an incredibly dumb question, as most people seem to know what this app is, but....what is it? I know its purpose is to send multimedia text messages, but why a special app? Does this app bypass the charges that are incurred when sending a regular picture message from your operator? Can someone just give me an explanation that explains why this app was made?
