Hey there guys and gals. I was wondering, being one of the better media consumption devices of its class, why does the N900 lack the ability to sort multiple video files into playlists?
Or does such a 3rd party app/built in functionality exist already?
I have a bunch of anime and drama series waiting to be played, but - as per my old 5800 and N97 - they only way to play a whole series is to remux the whole thing into a HUGE movie file. Hardly the best way to do things, ammirite?
Did try out mplayer, but both kmplayer and the other GUI front end lacked the ability to sort multiple video files into playlists. Or is it just impossible?
I don't really mind if the app relied on good old gstreamer for playback (seriously, it ain't half bad, especially with hardcoded subs). It just needs to group files together to be played sequentially.
If such an app exists already, I am honestly sorry for creating yet another trashable thread.
