OK, I guess there just isn't that much interest in getting more interest from the non-N900 (ie: Internet Tablet) folks. :P

What is it that you're proposing to have happen here? Have Nokia restart Tableteer? (Not going to happen.) Have Nokia ship an update to the Tableteer applet to make it point somewhere else? (Not going to happen.)
I, too, would like mwkn to be more visible. Unfortunately the methods you're pushing to make it so seem rather unrealistic.

The latter. (Nokia PUBLISH (ship??heh) an update to the Tableteer app that sits on N8x0 and 770 devices that, instead of pointing to defunct URLs, can instead point to modern, more useful sites like MWKN).
Why would you say that that isn't going to happen and why would it be unrealistic? What prevents a new Tableteer app update from being pushed out to the repositories? I don't see a technical reason why it can't happen and the only other reason I can think of is that Nokia (or the repo maintainer) isn't interested in community developments.
It's a business and organizational one. OS2008 and the N8x0 devices have been discontinued since early 2009, Tableteer is defunct and Nokia is now two generations down the road from that timeframe. Restarting the machinery to push a package update for Tableteer (even a small one-liner, single-package change) is expensive and not going to happen.
So yeah.. what's the issue? And who do we talk to about the app? Is it open?
This is why nobody is jumping to "make it happen", because it's simple not going to.
The "boring" bit was part of the sarcasm, by the way.
