Groove indeed now plays undistorted for me BUT, many times the track cuts short. Anyone else?

PS edit: I backed off ogg-support to version 0.5 to avoid pulling in gstreamer0.10-av and all issues resolved. Moobox now plays sounds to completion. The joys of extras-devel are many

I just used that apt-get remove and it fixed my problem in groove and someplayer. It is not kernel v47 related as i first thought. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...=1#post1003338

Updated a lot of apps and got the problem with chopoy sound in Groove. dont no witch app was the culprit. However made apt-get remove gstreamer0.10-av and problem disapered

That usually indicates that the grooveshark API has changed and that groove needs an update. So make sure that you have 0.5-04 installed, as that version solved the last API issue.

if you updated groove today you are ok. to see what version u have, use the App Manager, uninstall function, scroll down to groove, select it, read, back-out of App Man.

I don't know you but on my device only the first tune of a playlist is being played, and after it stops there's only silence instead of starting the second one. When I switch to playlist view, several titles are greyed out. What's happening?

I too had that issue. Getting rid of gstreamer0.10-av has improved the situation for me. Can still be flaky in terms of caching but not as bad as before.
