When I played with Symbian^3, I honestly did not miss it. I left 3.5G access for 2.5G/EDGE when going to the N900 so that should speak alot right there.
I'm thinking when Qt gets mainstream on both Symbian and Maemo, we'll see more apps. Nokia is going through challenging times having to support a multitude of OSes with limited resources.
