Just wanted to share an app that I have used for quite some time (started using is several years ago when I had linux on my IPAQ), to export my calendar and contact information from my desktop Outlook (not Outlook express) and import it into GPE Calendar and GPE Contact. The utility is called O2M and can be found at:
It runs on Windows and generate one .ics or .vcf file with the records is gets from Outlook, that then can be imported into the respective client (once you get the file to the tablet). I haven't figured out sync-ing yet, and the only problem I had was in my .ics file I had one record with a WKST attribute in the RRULE that generated the error on import:
invalid value for attribute RRULE (or something close to that).
I manually edited the .ics file, found the attribute WKST and cut out WKST=SU. I re-ran the import and it sucked it all in.
I am not affiliated with the folks at littlemachines, and note that O2M costs $10. It has been worth it to me as it does what I need it to do.
Oh and BTW, O2M stands for Outlook to Mac as this utility was originally meant to take the Outlook files over to a Mac. But the files it generates work perfectly fine for this tablet.
