Why does the N900 not play BBC video streams, i'm sure everyone at nokia and maemo claimed this phone has the best flash on a mobile device, flash9.

I bought this phone a while ago hoping it would play bbc video content, iplayer ext.... but it DOESN'T

Just look at this video of the nexus one and desire,

http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/23/f...te-4-on-eclai/

Both play the same video,
One using flash 4 lite
and the other with flash 10.1 beta

Surely the flash 9 on the N900 should be able to better than the flash 4 lite, but N000 it doesnt.
I've tried many times to play bbc video content but it is too slow at about 0.2 frams per seconds.

Please if you know of a solution tell me!
Or if you want to agree with me that the N900's flash 9 got pwnd by flashlite4,
Please leave a comment

Is this via your cell data or wifi? I would not expect it to work (well) unless you're using wifi.

And technically, *is* playing even at .2 frames per second, it's just not playing well. That's .2 frames more per second then you can get on your iPhone or iPad

Yes i do it on wifi, i have the best connection running into my phone.
And what i was tryin to same by 0.2 frames is i get a fram like ever 3 seconds, audio is fine just video doesnt play.
And if you watch the video in the link, how is the android phone with shitty flash lite 4 playing the video decently

thats strange, my stock settings n900 plays it with no lag at all, in good quality. You must be on a bad connection
