Hello I found a handy post by Jakiman, but when I try to change anything i get an error. I am trying to make custom button for starving_600 profile, to save battery life.

Code:
Title=1Ghz
instanceCmd=rootsh /usr/sbin/kernel-config load ideal_1000
cmd
I changed to:

Code:
Title=ECO
instanceCmd=rootsh /usr/sbin/kernel-config load starving_600
cmd
What I am doing wrong?

What error? Are you changing the buffer's contents before adding the command? If so, don't do that: Edit the command after you've imported.

P.S. You don't need rootsh. "sudo kernel-config ..." works fine.

YAY! It works!
I am just curious, why you can not edit the buffer? It looks like a simple text...

It's checksummed. There is a way around it, however; No!No!No!Yes is leaving it as an easter egg: http://wiki.maemo.org/Queen_BeeCon_W...Sum_protection

It's not simple text ... there's some metadata in there, like "\\" and other fancy things.
Further, checksum is some sort of a guarantee from the source.
