Hi, im new

Does anyone think theyre really going to be satisfied with android devices? Android ditches their hardware like every two months because theyre never upgrade compatible. The g1 is at 1.6, motoblur devices are at 1.5, and chances are that the droid and the incredible wont get froyo... or wont get it as soon as nexus. and by the time they do gingerbread will obsolete them. why bother investing in android now?

Remember the N900 is fully programmable so to port android or a full android os would not be difficult at all in the very near future.
Why you wanna sell the N900 is beyond me cos for sure you will soon learn to regret that decision !.

You've gotta be more specific and provide more factual backup to be taken seriously here. Especially here.

As far as I know, all mobile devices sold today are pretty much 'fully programmable', even iPhones. Well, except probably those low end ROM based devices.

Aren't we the pot calling the kettle black here? At least for their current systems most will get Froyo. We know we won't ever get MeeGo-Harmattan.

BTW, I tried my friend's DROID, and wasn't that impressed. Tried a friend's Incredible and man that thing was smooth. I felt like I could surf on that thing all day long, felt as responsive as my laptop. I thought I'd miss my keyboard but you know what, a nicely implemented soft keybard isn't all half bad. If I had the money I'd join the Android bandwagon, at least for a year or two until Nokia got their act together.

My N900 is completely dead now but prior to that has been nothing but a frustration since day one to be honest. Was planning on getting a Desire but there is a rumoured version of the Desire that has a full keyboard coming out soon so will definitely wait.

However, N900 is really the device for me due to the 32gb storage plus microsd card slot as I use it as mp3/mp4 player and the super Conboy app. Just wish mine had worked well. Or that HTC would release a device with 32gb memory. Why only microsd? If it is to keep the device as slim as possible iphone has already shown ages ago you can have slim form with loads of internal memory storage.
