the whole problem was that when i downloaded the files from here the were corrupted somehow. the files are 22kb and 66kb and when i downlloaded them they were 1kb each. check the files size if you got the same problem as i.

I did all you said, I install rootsh and then I do the same you people told to do:

sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
dpkg -i libgssdp

and appears the following message:
dpkg: error processing libgssdp (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
libgssdp

I have the file in both archives, My docs & documents
Then I tried renaming them with ".deb".

sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
dpkg -i libgssdp.deb

and appears as follow:

Preparing to replace libgssdp-1.0-dev 0.6.4-0maemo2+0m5 (using libgssdp.deb) ...

and it's all, it seems that I dont have that package named libsoup2.4 and I don't even find it neither here (maemo.org) nor the web.

It went backwards to libtasn1-3, but I installed all this 12 libs missing.

Unfortunately, aMSN didn't work well. I open the app and then the N900 starts to process, but then it get closed and nothing. sometimes it opens a window in wich I put my usename and password. but then it get closed.

I don't know what happened, I just don't like pidgin to install it again.

i manged to install it.
its not that hard guys.
first you need to understand when peoples says MyDocs it mean N900 storage device. which is shown at the computer at N900; not the .documents folder.
after you download those two files
copy them to your n900 main part. for example from computer: My Computer / N900.
paste it there and rename it to a.deb and the other one to b.deb
after that
unplug ur n900.
get on xterminal
and type this
"sudo gainroot"
if it say any error about locked just close applications manager and re-try it.
after that just type "cd MyDocs
and you will notice that the root will change to /MyDocs.
now you just need to type "dpkg -i a.deb" and then "dpkg -i b.deb"
process one by one. tadaaa installed.
now proceed to download amsn and install it.
