    You always could. It was on the menu at top of the screen. Now it is just more visible.

    ok so i have completely reflashed my N900 and the smses are working so OP u have my word you wont be sorry once u update it trust me, its friggin amazing u r doing something wrong in the flashing part buddy

    To be honest with you, if i were you I would have sticked to PR 1.1. The o n screen keyboard is a PAIN IN THE ***. And nothing really changed..except for 2-3 things.

    How I got my Wi-Fi connected

    After flash to pr1.2 it would recognize my home wireless network, it would not join the network. My router uses WPA security with a password, but every time I CAREFULLY entered the password it was rejected. If I shut off security in my router, I could connect, but as soon as I returned to the security settings I could no longer connect. Here's the fix: I simply changed the password/key for my security setting in the router, and then the phone would connect. Then I changed the password back to what it had been,and the phone connects again. All good now.

    How much free space on rootfs is 'enough' ? I have 29.6M free at the moment... (of 227M)

    How much did you guys have available when you ran into problems with OTA update?
