Backup with the backup app.
If you are going to flash completely then you should copy the backup to your pc.
After flashing, copy the backup back to the n900 and restore.

I want to update to PR 1.2 pack and want to format my N900 eMMC.(I know not required but I want to..... N900 is specially for nerds ryt :-))
Can any one please tell me how can i take backup of my conversation and restore it back after format? I tried testing inbuilt back application but didnt work (to test: I created one backup, then deleted one of the conversation, and then restore)
The glogarchive does not have the import option. so how can i import it back to N900?
