thanks durazell. it doesn't work, there's no "all users" folder in windows 7.
it's ok, PFhawk pointed me to the correct tutorial for win7. i've been running PR1.2 since.

Hello everybody!
I too have a problem updateing the pr1.2 on my n900.
I downloaded the latest NSU which doesn't find the new update by itself. I went step by step by PFhawk's instructions how to copy the new update version into NSU's temp folder for win7. Then I start the NSU again with my n900 pluged into my computer via suite mode, and the NSU doesn't recognise the new folder there and keeps saying that I have the latest update (3.2010....) and if I wan't to reupdate it. then I went to see in the folder where the updates are and saw, that the old update is in .vpl format, and new wich I had added is in .bin format .May this be the problem.
I would be thankfull for any advises u have.
