Considering it was 5 months between 1.1 and 1.2, it should be around fall of 2013 before we see 2.0

I agree with what your saying, and if it cant be done it cant be done...I know nothing of the specifics on how camera work....but the reason I included it as I have noticed other mobiles with 5MP cameras out there that have 720p video recording....how do they manage to acheive that with their 5MP cameras?

Er.. 720p is only about 1 megapixel(1280x720). why would they not be able to do it with a 5mp camera? Heck, they could even do 1080p if that was the only problem. processing power and such things are the real problems.

Thats what I am saying...
And as Mohammad even pointed out, the Omnia HD uses the same processor as the N900....
So the camera MP is not the issue, the processor is not the issue...whats stopping an upgrade to 720p or even 1080i?

the problem is the camera hardware itself. Pictures yes. But video? Its like processing pictures 30x a second so it depends if the camera could handle that much stress.
Also this is a wishlist its not good to say 'bla bla bla is not needed so its ok that it wouldnt be implemented' FYi not all people have the same taste as you. if you prefer that then fine but dont contradict peoples likes if ever a feature is implemented then just dont use it but dont say that its not needed coz some people do.
