Not sure about quality, but I've tested video calling between N900 and SIP video desk phone in my friend office. He said that picture quality was very good (on my side it was also very good but quite slow).
Apparently SIP protocol that supports HQ video calls. I noticed N900 gives you SIP Video call option too.
Has anyone manged to get it work?
