It worked no worries. I didn't have my MMC in as it searches when starting up for audio and I have no audio files on my device.

I guess this means that it only starts up if it finds audio files located on the device.

It works fine, although there isn't a progress bar for the tracks , would we see that in the public release?

I like the minimal interface though.

The latest version should be able to inform the user that he/she has no audio files and only after that, quit. I'll have to test that with no mmcs installed. Don't know if it works in that case or not.

Well, I already retrieve a percentage value for progress for every drawn frame, so implementing a progress bar would probably take only an hour or two. I'll try to do that today. I'll make it small so that it doesn't bother the rest of the interface too much.

After that, I'll digg again into ogg support.

I don't keep changing the songs in my Nokia on a daily basis, so I find the automatical scan of songs at startup a bit frustrating. I would like to see a possibility to turn this off. Maybe after this the scan could be executed manually, by pushing a button on library screen or using a switch on command line.

I also get Media Player crashing every now and then after adding new songs. The program starts and begins the scanning, but closes after a while with the message below. By deleting the new songs one by one (or moving them to a hidden folder), I can usually find one or more MP3 files that are causing this error. ID3 tags have been in English and German.

Tested with IT770, ukmp previews 19 and 21.

I'll try to fix that utf error asap. I *may* have fixed it now. Can you send me an mp3 that is causing problems so that I can debug it a bit? I'll add it to my headache mp3s folder.

Concerning the startup scanning: I will remove it asap I get a proper way of storing the scanning data.

I've released version 22, which may contain the fix for utf errors.

It also contains a nice eye candy addition and I've improved the speed of the smooth scroll by two fold or something like that. Much better now. Oh, version 21 had that improvement as well, but it contained so many bugs that I didn't bother telling anyone about it. Still, apparently 62 people tested it anyway. My condolences. Anyway, this 22 version is usable and only contains some minor new bugs.
