Anyone know of any decent calendar applications, with the ability to ring and warn you about certain dates?

I am not sure about rings But I use "Dates" I sync it with Dates in my laptop

Gpe calendar can set alarms, it also has a desktop applet which shows upcoming events and has been working well for me under gregale. The clincher for me is that it can pull from google calendar.

While I do like GPE Calender, it has one annoying "feature": it doesn't close when you tick the "x" icon, it just puts itself in the background. To close it, you have to go to the menu and select "close".

I'd enter a bug report if only I knew where.

How do you set it up to pull your google calendar?

I couldn't find a way to set a simple thing like bi-weekly events, which made GPE calendar not that much useful for me. I still use my Palm for calendar.

While I still did not try it with gregale, setting an alarm when using it with scirocco always crashed the app twice* at the time the alarm was set.

*once when the tablet should trigger the alarm, once again when launching again the calendar. Launching the app one more time ran again the app.

Yeah I tried for 2 hours and couldn't get gpe calendar to download my googlemaps. It *says* it does it. But none of them show up

Help?
