I see many new SMS applications floating around maemo garage and the forums. So I'm asking if anyone is interested in merging all of their codebase together. Instead of clearing small errors in each UI, we could concentrate on other tasks or share the work.
In my mind the following projects could be merged:
WebTexter (gtk + c) - already asked
VertSMS (gtk + python)
VertSMS.ru (gtk + python)
www2sms (Qt + python) - already asked
Web2SMS (Qt + c++)
gvSMS (Qt + python)
FastSMS (Qt + c++)
I've never published anything about my project in the public but before more projects will be created, I'm doing this now.
The last weeks I prepared code for loading python plugins into Web2SMS, implemented message types with different lengths, prices and a useless portrait mode It should not sound like "my code is the best" (sadly it's not ), I just wanted to test how well different providers work together.

Also, it would be nice if someone can implement features that can make fake calls or send fake SMS texts.......I own and have used almost every OS there are for fones, and all of them have apps that can do this. It's useful when you're in a meeting or in a awkward situation and you can pretend to engage in a fake call to get out it it.
Also, feature that can spam multiple SMS would be nice as well, as well as sending Flash SMS.
