    Hi Sharky,

This new version is very nice.

I tried the online mode and sync with my account which is very lightly used currently: just one notebook with only a dozen items (notes, web clips and a couple of photos).

It worked perfectly and quite fast too, even using 3G, compared to the previous online version.

Thanks and keep the good things coming ! I think I'll be using Evernote a lot more now thanks to this :-)

Since there is QT 4.5 in diablo repository, I'll try to setup an environment for os2008 and see how it goes, but dont get your hopes up, no promises - I just dont have enough free time
Thanks Sharky, I won't get my hopes up....but my fingers are crossed

I've also had problems with versions subsequent to 0.3-1. When an update showed in the app manager it failed to install properly. I then un-installed it and then re-installed via the app manager but the installation again failed. Reverted back to 0.3-1 - which is still excellent.

If you want to upgrade qvernote from garage with qvernote from extras-devel, do the following:

    1. Uninstall the old qvernote.
    2. rm -f /opt/lib/libEvernote* /opt/lib/libthrift*
    3. Install the extras-devel version
    4. If install still fails, run the following on root prompt:
    apt-get remove libevernote1.15 thrift0.2.0
    and try to install again

Sorry, the package has to be significantly changed in order to pass autobuilder. Future upgrades will be fine
