2 questions about GPS :
-I'd like to add GPS location to the pictures I take with the camera.
I don't find how to do this. The only option I found needs an internet connexion and adds the name of the town.
Is there a way to do this ?

-when using google maps, I don't know the way to display a full *screen map showing my position and the traffic.
maps.google.com shows a little map, in which I can zoom in and display the traffic, but it shows in a very small part of the screen

*google.com/maps/m is fullscreen, it shows my position, but I cannot zoom in to see more details.

any tricks ?

thanks

I guess geotagging photos needs a internet connection. It might still work without it, not sure.

But it does add more than just the name of the town, if you look at the details of a geotagged photo, it will show the exact latitude and longitude, and let you see it on a map. Also, some places where you can upload the photo will be able to show it on a map.

As far as google maps, just use maemaps. Much better.

To turn off the need for a data connection when using the GPS: Settings -> Location -> Disable network positioning. It will probably be very slow to get a lock though. Also, like breakd0wn says, the photo do get the exact latitude and longitude embedded. The reason you just see the town after you snapped the picture is probably because it makes more sense.
