It would definitely be great in case a native ARM library would be provided officially by Spotify..The underlying library used by QSpot is API-compatible with the offical one as well. Currently, the official libspotify does not support offline mode for the current plaforms, so it might be the same for an ARM version as well (offline mode is only implemented in the official Spotify clients, e.g., for desktop / mobile (iphone, android, symbian etc.).

I know but they do have a QT based native Linux app that does support offline playlists, so hope springs eternal. Having said that, I am in the same boat as you (though I don't see why Spotify need to release a native ARM library if they don't add any features over and above the ones already available in libopenspotify)

I will look into what can be done to address the issues you have reported. The last issue (with the segfaults on quickly skipping over tracks) is a known issue with the libopenspotify library, which will require some effort to properly fix (I am looking into alternatives). ![]() |
