Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to decide on which BT Keyboard I should get for my N800. So far, I am looking at:
  • Nokia Wireless Keyboard
  • Stowaway/iGo Ultra Portable Keyboard
  • Stowaway/iGo BT Keyboard

Anyone has some experience using them and their pros/cons?

Thanks!

I quickly tried Nokia Wireless Keyboard and got it working right away. The only thing I wasn't able to get working were the shortcuts, but I think it was more just the lack of time than anything else. If someone has any pointers, let me know. I cannot compare the experience to the others, because I haven't had a chance to try them.

I have the Nokia SU-8W. I would not recommend it for the following reasons:

-It folds in the center and does not lock into place. Just try using it in your lap or any uneven surface.
-Bunch of phone specific buttons that have no real use on the N800
-The big issue though is that the numbers and a lot of common punctuation are only available as second functions of the qwerty row of letter keys. I am constantly having to switch back and forth to fn mode and backspace to correct mistakes. This really throws the speed of my typing for a lurch, and I have long experience typing on tiny keyboards. It is possible to design a keyboard that is both small and capable of being rapidly typed upon. Just look at the Jornada line of HPCs or the original Toshiba Libretto series (the newer Libretto on the other hand has one of the worst small keyboards I have ever seen).

I'd recommend the Stowaway Sierra for reasons outlined in this thread

I have just one caveat: it's a little noisy.
