"dial" *#0000#
it should give you a version number and rx-51 nokia n900, copyright nokia
if that fails, or does something different, it should help "prove" the phone is fake without relying on looks.
Come to think of it, maybe it's better if you make use of Nokia's N900 manual (linked by sjgadsby above) which is clearly an official document than by showing another picture by a forum member of unknown origin...
@maxximuscool: and how did you know that OP have read about that site? He said it was purchased from Ebay.
The phone is DUAL SIMS!!
Common! No Nokia is made with DUAL SIM lol.
Provide the link to Ebay and I'll light up his mistakes. It's only 112Bucks, if it is too good to be true, then it may not true.
By making such a shallow statement you risk being pathetic yourself. Scams are everywhere. With 1 bil. people in there, it is expected to have about 1/5th of world's scams, just like 1/5th of world's geniuses, etc etc...
Wow... It has Dual SIM, JAVA and MMS support... That right there should have been a clue that it wasn't the real deal.
Seriously though, you know you've got a good device when the cloners are trying to make a knock-off of your device. Interesting that they kept the form factor (and apparently swiped some of the icons).
