Oh god, I'm having a sneezing fit and the only prescription is the MeeGo Handset UX.

I am pretty sure that there should be a certain dynamic relationship between the thread intention and the thread content. Dogs and cats aside, in a speculative topic named "Looks like [something] is almost out", a lack of references to the PR1.2 thread and Chuck Norris would require Ingsoc moderation. In a post-release thread discussing how to rewrite a module to fit into the touch UI, I would believe there would be less acceptance for subthreading. TMO is a community, not a FAQ slash work log.

Yes. Ignoring the forums is precisely what I've seriously considered in the past, due to really bad s/n ratio. I'm quite sure I'm not alone in considering (and doing) this, from what has been said the USB host mode people are one example of this.

(I've deliberately *not* left, because I think the more people that do that, the worse it is going to get. I also think that there are a lot of people remaining here that I can try help from time to time, so I stay, and do that instead.)

Discussing what this handset UX release is going to bring us as users or developers, useful. Joking about delays and whatnot and that things never come out on time might even be amusing.

10000x posts of "is it out yet" aren't really adding any value into the discussion.

There's a difference between mindless idiocy and on-topic discussion, with occasional banter thrown into it. Some people don't seem to grasp the subtle distinction between the two.

'Looks like the MeeGo Handset UX is almost out' is indeed a proper title to this thread.
As i've always found 'almost' a very flexible word indeed that could stretch from here to eternity
and the best thing about that word is that it keeps everyone on the edge

Please chill out. Things are on their way. Just look at the times of previous MeeGo Day 1s and releases.

Intel is on the west coast of NA, remember. People there are barely making it to work right now.

Don't let common sense intrude on our discussion!

You're just saying this because the release is delayed!
