I've been using custom transitions.ini for long, but today i installed blue-sky theme that has a custom transitions of its own.

I wanted to revert back to my old transitions, so i removed the theme and replaced the transitions.ini in usr/share/hildon-desktop with the old custom transtions i had.

Now the device insists on using the default transitions, even after copying a custom one to usr/share/hildon-desktop and restarting.

Any ideas?

I did a search for transitions.ini, and i found it in:

Code:
home/opt/usr/share/themes/blackplastictheme-themedir/transitions.ini
should i delete it and keep the one in usr/share/hildon-desktop?

I would rather cut it out, and see what happens.

Now transitions change every time i switch the theme... Is there a file in the system responsible for doing this? how to revert the behavior back to original?

It changes only if theme has it's own transitions.ini included (and black-plastic has). You can safely delete transitions.ini -file under black-plastic's directory and system will the use your own transitions.ini file located at usr/share/hildon-desktop.

if you are using themes with custom transitions and you want to have your own transitions you have to replace the transitions.ini file from that theme as well or you can delete it and the system will use the default one (sometimes you have to do a reboot)..hope it helps
