I know it works. I've done it before. This is very strange though:

I used coppermine photogallery to generate thumbnails and organize my avis that had been converted to 770 format. then when i browse to that page vie the native browser, it says something like has a "plug in" icon or sometimes a movie icon. Either way, upon clicking I get the option to open, save, or cancel. If I click open it'll start streaming (after a short buffer time) to the native video player.awesome right, BUT

same set up only with gallery2 which I have effectively switched over for all of my other needs. However when I click the sometimes plug-in sometimes movie icon thing to open/save/cancel, the open button is greyed out!!! BOOOO

Any ideas on how to get this to work? I'd love to be able to stream my vids again. :-(
