    Changes are:
    • Fix/Workaround for the annoying, non-rotating issue. If DrLaunch stops rotating then just switch desktops or lock/unlock the device and it should be fixed (needs testing since it is hard to test)- Didnt have this problem so i cant tell. so far worked fine.
    • Add support for no-background. Icons can now become background-less Works great.
    • Add support for using theme's icon background. The background won't be rotated and if you ever switch themes you'll have to either restart or go in settings and exit to make DrLaunch refresh it.-Works fine for me.
    • Added support for logging. If the file /tmp/drlaunch.log exists then it will be used as a logging target when DrLaunch starts.Didnt understand exactly what it suppose to do
    • Fixed loading of older config versions. I guess that this was responsible for loosing the icons.
    • Fixed bug where under some cases there would be an internal error causing rotation to stop.Same as i said on the first one, Didnt encounter this problem
    • Fixed problems with loading non-compatible icons. This most probably includes sygic's icon. Note that it will still not load the icon but instead show the default blue.- now it loads the icon leaving it blue as said. is there a chance you make it somehow "do it yourself" kind of thing, where we load our own icons if we want to change them or if the dont load as in sygic's case
    • Added a bugzilla bugtracker.Don't know what the hell is bugzilla

It still doesn't load theme's icons and unhandled icon formats. Also, it is still not possible to customize icon spacing.

So go ahead, test it and report success or failure. I'm mostly interested in knowing whether the new version will keep older configuration (works for me). If one or two of you confirm this then I'll promote it to extras-testing. Otherwise the version should be pretty stable.
    Couple other things:
    1. When i updated it the DrLaunch went crazy. had to unistanll and install again, after the second reboot it came around.
2.When i close one of my DrLaunch icon sets and start a new one it loads the old one i closed (not exactly a con for everyone but i expected it to be deleted and so no.
3.when unchecking the rotate individualy it lets you only do 2*2 icons and 3*3 and so on. but wont let you choose 3*4
4.Had a little problem which now seems to be fixed, when i pressed on ant icon the entire thing shifted, and i couldnt press the close widget or get into setting because of this. now seems to be fine again

Other than that its a great widget and thank you for making it.

    Thanks for the early testing!

Since it seems safe I've promoted DrLaunch to extras-testing. If you find it OK then vote for it in order to push ti extras.

The theme icons is in the TODO list for the next version.

You can create .desktop files that point to a custom shell script. If you do it then DrLaunch will find it and show it in the application list.

    Thanks,

I think quicklaunch had this problem as well and was sorted a couple of versions ago.
For info ask b0unc3 how he did it.

also the ability to change the icon size(like theme customizer can) would be awesome.

Sorry but this is outside of DrLaunch's scope. At best, it is an idea for an application but most probably you can do what you want by using Queen Beacon Widget. It is very nice, powerful and does exactly what you want.

Oh... and it is not advanced. You just create a script and a text file. I'd suggest to go for it. Most probably you'll like it.
