Hi! I have re-flashed my N810 so its clean now. I installed Mediabox. I try to use the gstreamer backend for unknown audio, because that is used for mp3 internet radio streams.

    It fails to play it.

What can be wrong with it?
Or maybe gstreamer does not support mp3 internet radio stream?
My problem with OSSO backend is that it buffers for a long time, while mplayer buffers fast but I sometimes hear that its not crystal clear, it has some quiet static noise sometimes.

Anyway can someone try to set the unknown audio to gstreamer backend and see if any mp3 internet streams work?

I changed the orientation to portrait and after, my tablet returned to desktop.

Now, every time that I start it, the program do the same thing.

How can I return the config to landscape again? I tried to uninstall but the N810 save the settings before uninstall.

    2) The Mediabox Home Widget works with this new version in N810?
I had the same problem, but don't worry

MediaBox, just doens't want to work anymore after my reflash.
I can't get past "Tap here to access your media" screen.
so I removed it, and after that autoremove, installed it again, rebooted and it still won't work.

So this is what the debugger is saying:

    Code:
    Nokia-N900-02-8:/usr/bin$ MediaBox -v
MAFW PROPERTY RECEIVED 9742912 volume 11025568 <ctypes.LP__GError object at 0x44a210>

I have tested the latest trunk from today. The improvements are nice,
    especially the larger buttons.
The player window doesn't show the cover art. The home-widget shows
it only for a part of a second. However skipping is fast again.
When gpodder calls the closed application, it is still only opened, but
only the last content is loaded, not the called podcast.

I want a view that show me all tracks without mention to the album.

Moreover, I think it'll be better to have a view a la iTunes. You open all the songs and by a cursor you sort by Artist, Album, Dates etc.
then why don't you just click 'artists', it lists every song on the device by that artist

You need root permission to modify the folder named opt

I have tested the latest trunk. In camera pictures there are also shown all
podcast covers and some (not all) album covers. But the idea to add camera
pictures is great. So I get rid of the displayed cover art when browsing pictures.
I think, the sleeptimer should be placed either on the shelf, or in the status
bar, not in the settings. Did you remove phone behavior?
Do you have a plan to implement a automatically go online function?
I suggest a priority list of connections for full automatic, and a manual
option, where the user gets asked, which connection to use. Or simply use
    the phone's implementation.

    Hi!
I have been looking for the solution, but as I did not found it, I will post it here:
I've just installed Mediabox. When I launch the application, it closes alone after 20 seconds.
I tried to uninstall/reinstall, but there's no change.
I am a novice using linux, but I can use XTerm if well explained.
Someone have an idea? How ca I know what is not working well? Is there a special command I have to run to know?
    Thanks

EDIT: after one more uninstall, coud not reinstall at all. I tried apt-get install media box and I have:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mediabox: Depends: python2.5-gnome but it is not going to be installed
    E: Broken packages

    Any idea?

Try to resolve your package database mess with
    Code:
    apt-get install -f
It looks like you got some broken package or dependency conflicts in there.
