I am currently using the iGo/Thinkoutside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard. I have noticed that when I am typing it will almost always inserts extra characters... so much so that don't even use it anymore.

For example if I type "hello" it will appear as "hellllooo"

Has anyone else had this problem? (Solution?)

I searched on Google and found people having the same issue on their iPaqs and the n800... but I couldn't find a solution. I have also emailed iGo... I will let yall know what reply I receive.

Wow and I thought I was going crazy. My stowaway does the same thing. I thought it might have been a battery issue but never changed it

I find that if I slow down when I type it helps. I don't do alot of typing on the N800 but every once in a while I need the keyboard to shoot off a email or something.

I have the same problem on all units with which I have used my Stowaway keyboard. I too, find that you can;t really type at full touch typing speed. You need to be sure that your fingers have released one key before starting to press the next.

Has any used the Nokia BT Keyboard (SU-8W)?

I want to know if this has the same issue, or if it is just the Stowaways.

(side note, I still have not yet received a response from iGO)

I use the Nokia keyboard (often, actually) and don't have this issue.
