It should be possible with queen beacon. At least, it is possible to disable the wifi with an icon, and to connect to several connections (there is a specific widget for it, was it connectnow?).
In my case, I'll try to modify the script in order to create a button that either disables wifi and connects to internet, or disconnects from internet and initiates-and-connect to wifi.
Another one to change from 2G to 3G would also be nice.

I was wondering if anyone can create a widget for the n900 that has toggle switches for Bluetooth, wifi, 3g, gsm & etc. Just like the widget found on android devices with htc sence. Just a suggestion.
