Not working! I use english language! Do you get me when I told you that v.190 worked just perfect? This v190 is a total mess! Hope you will fix it! I used your theme from the begining but now it just a pain in the ***. You should not remove the restart function! It was usefull and not buggy! Please give as a working v190 installer. That version was supperb and the fonts worked!

Noup, where did you get that idea from? It only customizes black plastic and I tend to keep it that way

Dude, chill out. No need to yell every sentence (!!!)

I'll try to think this through and figure out what's causing the troubles you're suffering. What font are you trying to set? Just that I can test with the same font on my device.

In my (and seems like others too) device it's working. Do you think I would have uploaded it to devel if it didn't? There's something different in your device and I'm TRYING to think what it could be.

    @puiradu

when you update on the blcak-plastic theme, a warning banner appears like this:

"the theme has been set to default, go to menu, settings, plastic theme settings to set-up the theme"

(i do not know if i got it word-by-word but i think i got what that means)

it means, in the update, the theme is de-activated and then you need to set it up again. this reason, i believe, is that a reboot is needed for the theme changes to take effect.

i am using most of D-Iivil's themes, and i am always told by the description to re-select/set-up the theme and reboot. which means, your theme will be set as default and you just need to re-activate your desired theme and i believe is NORMAL.

EDIT: if i am wrong, try re-selecting other themes, and wait for 5 mins, if the theme still is the default, nokia n-series, and needed a reboot, this maybe a bug on changing themes.

Okay... let's try this. You need to have the latest version of Black Plastic (2.191) and rootsh installed (if not, install it via app manager) and extras-devel repo enabled. Change your theme to nseries, then type these into terminal (make sure you type everything correctly and press enter after every command):

    sudo gainroot
    rm -rf /usr/share/themes/blackplastictheme-themedir
    rm -rf /sbin/launchblack
    rm -rf /sbin/setupblackplastic
    rm -rf /opt/rx
    rm -rf /home/user/.config/PlasticTheme
    apt-get clean
    apt-get update
    apt-get install --reinstall black-plastic-theme

If any errors is shown, paste them here.

If no errors were shown, then go and select to use Black Plastic Theme and reboot. You should now have black plastic theme with Droid Fonts and Black color scheme in use. Then go to the settings -> Plastic Theme Settings, and try to set font into Nokia Sans, scheme to DeepRed, transitions into enabled mode and the activate -field as it is (keep my current theme active). Hit save -button and setup should start. Banners should be popping up durin setup telling you what's going on. Tell me if you don't see any banners. Finally when the setup is done and progress bar -window has disappeared, close the setup and reboot the phone.

You should now have DeepRed with Nokia Sans. Tell me if it's not working.

And final question: you have PR1.2 firmware on your phone, right?

Yes I have PR1.2. The previous version 190 was working just fine. I will try one more time using your steps.

I followed your steps and all worked as described.

Now try to reproduce this, maybe now you will understand me.
Consider this settings as active and black plastic theme as default theme:
    Font: Droid sans
    Scheme: Black
    Transitions: Custom transitions enabled
Activate: Keep my curent theme acthive.

    Ok?
Now go to black plactic theme setup and change only the font
    keeping the rest the same:

    Font: NewTimes
    Scheme: Black
    Transitions: Custom transitions enabled
Activate: Keep my curent theme acthive.

Push Save changes now and tell me if black plastic theme is still active or the font is changed. I hope you will understand now.
