well you just want a cold beer after a hard work on the themes so why not?
EDIT: BTW the snap-to-grid option's lowest pixel is 4 on the plastic theme set-up, is that the default?
How are the icon backgrounds removed?
Can it be done "easily" to other themes, manually.
Also some of the fonts that I have on my n900 are by default too big to use, can the font size me changed at all?
You can remove the icon backgrounds from any theme just deleting one file. You need to have rootsh installed and then type this into terminal (replace the YOURTHEMEDIR with actual directory of the theme):
sudo gainroot
rm -rf /usr/share/themes/YOURTHEMEDIR/images/ApplicationShortcutApplet.png
For font size changing; you need to manually tweak the values in this file:
/opt/plastic-schemes/SCHEMENAME/gtk2.0/gtkrc
If you browse that file down you'll see the font names and sizes after them. DO NOT CHANGE THE FONT NAME HERE, USE THE PLASTIC THEME SETUP FOR THAT.
After you've changed what you want to change, just run the Plastic Theme Setup again.
But I notified the developer of fapman to change the background-behaviour so it would take the actual desktop-image instead of theme's image. Maybe he will change that in future update
Great, thanks! Hopefully he will respond and work on it.

Selecting an improperly formatted image via mameo's background selection option works fine. The original file was a jpeg with 1600x1200 pixels, an ordinary desktop wallpaper and now it sits on all my desktops and looking good.

Really? Didn't realize that yet so I can just deinstall maenotify ... cool.

You're not gonna save the money for the big weekend? Or ain't you going down to Wacken, your avatar looks like you would do that ... ?
once you have opened your Plastic theme setup, you should see the Font title with a blank field next to it?
Ok, if you click on that field (for me, more towards the right hand side) a new window should open with font options.
Thanks gryedouge. On opening Plastic theme setup I get option on enabling custom transitions then choose colour scheme and that is it. How can I find what version I am on and how do I update. Wondering if I have 'old' theme.
@D-livil epic epic epic epic theme continuously getting better and better there is absolutely no need for any other theme now that this one is so friggin diverse!!!!! tell you what would be amazing if you integrated some ability to select the battery icons, cell signal and wifi signal other than that absolutely perfect many props!
