Looking something almost exactly what that pixelpipe thing does, but with out going though their sever

able to share photo via service with ftp or scp

Where do you want to share it to? With your network PC?

Then just use SSH otherwise use Rygel if you want to make your N900 appear on the Network like the rest of the PCs.

My web server that's not on my home lan

I want to use the GUI that phone has so i can set the title field in the exif (i have a script that renames it on the web server)

i can do this already but it goes though pixelpipe then to my webserver, i'm trying to get it go directly to web server
