I've never heard of that at all.

I use iptables. Works great. I don't know of any simple user interface for this though - it's all command line configuration.

to give more details i installed the cyberoam client under /home/opt/crclient

and according to their manual ./crclient -u "username" should ask about the server address and password etc. to generate the configuration and run.
but when i try excuting the ubove command i get this:

./crclient: line 1: syntax error: "(" unexpected

any idea?

come on community show me some love.

i can;t use my N900 when at work because of this firewall, if i need to connect to the internet from my N900 i have to use the web client, which means i have to leave on browser tab open all the time while i download or do some chat'n. the moment the phone goes to sleep i lose the connection and i have to do it again.

the other solution is their linux client which i could not run.

any corporate users around here ?

Note:
this is the manula for installing the client,

Right, I think I understand you now - you are trying to install a Linux client - that's not going to work. Different architecture.

Looks like you're stuck with the web interface. You'll need to figure out how to stop your N900 going to sleep, maybe you've installed autodisconnect and that is causing you problems, maybe something else.
