This thread would probably be better in the Maemo 5 area or maybe the Applications area.
But here's something to consider in the meantime: is it really the best approach to switch user agents? Consider these possibly-less-clumsy alternatives:
- Find a URL that has the desired site behavior. For example, if you want the iPod version of Facebook, go to touch.facebook.com. See the "Mobile-friendly URLs..." link in my signature for lots of these (and feel free to add your own).
- Switch browsers. MicroB will typically access the "full version" of the site, but Opera Mobile is sometimes recognized as a user agent that triggers the mobile version of a site.

However i would like to have 3 or 4 user agent strings stored and be able to switch among them in microb like i do in my desktop firefox browser.
After some search i found this thread:
http://browser-extras.garage.maemo.org/news/8/
relative to a port of user agent switcher to microb (chinook i think).
Has anyone tested this port in maemo5 or is there any agent switcher add-on available for N900 microb ??
Thanks
