my emails are not coming through. i press update still doesnt work. anyone know why this could be?

No network connection?
Phone needs a reboot?
No new mails to download?
Mail settings incorrect?
Problem at ISP?
etc?

Yes, my emails are not coming through either. I use Nokia Messaging for Hotmail access etc and they are not syncing. Using a 3G Vodafone UK connection and web browsing is fine, just not mail. Reboot has not fixed it

The email has been a mess ince the last maemo update... hoping someone is looking to fix it, but its been pretty bad. Its effecting many users out there.. including me. I am being patient, but its been weeks now & I am shopping for an android phone as we speak... was hoping to hang in there till the meego devices started to show this year, but emails being hours late & the hang time waiting for emails to load in the inbox is just bizzare???

I got a mail into my nokia messaging that i need to upgrade my email software to continue to receive emails? I think it may be confused because i set up nokia messaging originally with my n82. but if i try to set my phone as an n900 it isn't listed!

its working for me now.still very sluggish tho. It never was perfect
